# Authipay - Card

> Connect to Authipay to accept card payments.

**Authipay**

Authipay is a card payment gateway brand from Fiserv, a global financial
services technology company. It processes card payments on the same Fiserv IPG
(Internet Payment Gateway) platform as the
[Fiserv IPG connector](https://docs.byzly.com/connections/payments/fiserv-card.md), using credentials issued against your
Authipay account.

## Setup

Authipay credentials are not available through a self-service sign-up. Contact
your Authipay representative to have an account created and to be issued the
API credentials for both the test and live environments.

## Connector configuration

After setting up your Authipay connector in the dashboard, configure how
transactions are routed to it. Choose one of the following options:

* **Using Flow** - Configure Authipay as the target connector in
  [Flow](https://docs.byzly.com/guides/dashboard/flow/overview.md) to automatically route card
  transactions to this connector.
* **Using the API** - Explicitly set the `payment_service_id` parameter to the
  Authipay connector ID when creating transactions. This overrides any Flow
  routing rules.

The connector ID can be found in the dashboard under **Connections** ->
**Configured connections**.

## Credentials

When setting up Authipay in the dashboard, configure the following credentials,
which are obtained from Authipay:

* **API key** - The API key issued for your Authipay account.
* **Secret key** - The secret issued alongside the API key. Each request is
  signed with it, so it needs to be the secret that belongs to the API key
  configured above.
* **Store ID** - Your Authipay store identifier, sent with every transaction.

## Capabilities

This list is for guidance only. It doesn't guarantee availability or
create any rights, and the provider may need to enable some features for
your account.

## Features

### Zero-dollar authorizations

Zero-dollar (account verification) authorizations use Fiserv's dedicated card
verification API rather than a standard authorization for a zero amount. This is
Fiserv's recommended method for verifying a card without placing a charge.

### 3-D Secure

Authipay supports pass-through 3-D Secure, where the authentication is performed
by a separate 3-D Secure provider and the resulting data is passed to Authipay
with the authorization.

## Integration

To accept card payments with Authipay, use one of Gr4vy's client-side
integration methods to securely collect card details. Due to PCI compliance
requirements, card data should never be sent directly to your servers.

You can integrate using:

* **[Embed](https://docs.byzly.com/guides/payments/embed/quick-start)** - A pre-built, customizable
  payment form that handles the complete payment flow
* **[Secure Fields](https://docs.byzly.com/guides/payments/secure-fields/quick-start)** - Embed card
  input fields for building custom payment forms while maintaining PCI
  compliance
* **[Mobile SDKs](https://docs.byzly.com/guides/payments/mobile.md)** - Embed SDKs for iOS, Android, and React Native

These methods handle card data collection and tokenization. Once the card
details are collected and tokenized, create a transaction through the Gr4vy API,
which routes the payment to your configured Authipay connection based on your
Flow rules or explicit `payment_service_id` parameter.

## Testing

Authipay issues a separate set of credentials for its test environment. Use the
standard Fiserv test cards to simulate transactions:

* Visa: `4111 1111 1111 1111`
* Mastercard: `5555 5555 5555 4444`
* American Express: `3782 822463 10005`

Use any future expiry date and any 3-digit security code (4 digits for American
Express). For additional test scenarios, contact your Authipay representative.
